Dear colleagues,

During the day, a new TYPO3 release will be rolled out on all websites with the following changes:

NEW FEATURE

  • Plain FAQ: As already teased in our June update we have added the Plain FAQ feature for all TYPO3 websites. This allows you to create simple FAQ records without the time-consuming content page creation required before. The new feature package introduces its own page type to display all FAQs on a single page. Additionally, a list plugin will help you show relevant FAQ records on any page you choose.

Usability Enhancements

  • Search Adjustments: We have adjusted the search behavior so that product pages will be sorted before PDF files in the results.
  • Logo Display in E-mail: From now on, the specific website logo will be displayed in the e-mails you send from the website. This change will improve communication for websites that are not using the standard ACO logo, such as Mufle or Mastertrading, for example.

  • We have cleaned up unnecessary and unused configurations of the register tool on several websites. This adjustment improves the usage of the frontend user register tool. In addition to these changes, we have maintained our code to improve the stability of the websites.
