Dear colleagues,

During the day, a new TYPO3 release will be rolled out on all websites with the following changes:

Usability Enhancements

  • Stretch-Content full width background: We have enabled the stretch content feature for the Article (100% background) grid. This will display the colored background in full width but will not stretch the content inside.



  • Increased gaps fly out menu: We have increased the gap between the sub-items inside the fly out menu.

  • Mobile behavior of carousel element: The handling of the carousel element has been adjusted for mobile use. In this case the sliding arrow buttons will now center the next carousel item to show the full content. In addition to this the touch sliding has been improved.

Accessibility Enhancement

  • Focus on Latest content teaser compact: We have improved the display and use of the latest content teaser compact element while using the keyboard.

More adjustments

  • Mobile behavior Image with focus points: We have fixed the focus points behavior on mobile use.
  • Deleting company type field: Inside the registration plugin for frontend user, we have deleted the selection field for “company type”. This field was an individual configurated and wasn’t available for all websites. That’s why we decided to delete it.
