[ACTION REQUIRED] Release Notes v2025.06.2 – Enabled Cookie Consent, deleted feature and more

Dear colleagues,

During the day a new TYPO3 release will be rolled out on all websites with the following changes:

Data Policy Adjustments

  • Global Cookie Consent Activation: In compliance with the law, we have implemented a Cookie Consent Banner on all websites for visitors from Europe, the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Additionally, a cookie listing page is now available to provide users with a transparent overview of all cookies in use. This information is only important for those who did not previously have cookie consent on their websites.

Usability Enhancements

  • Article Grid Bug Fix: We have resolved a bug that caused elements in an article grid to rearrange after pasting. The sorting of elements will now remain consistent.

Deleted Feature

  • Document List Feature Removal: The Document List Feature, previously available to select instances, has been removed. With the release of the Download Center for all websites, this feature is no longer necessary.

  • Improved Keyboard Navigation: We have enhanced keyboard navigation for the full-width Latest Content Teaser, making it more accessible.
