[ACTION REQUIRED] Release Notes v2025.07.2

Dear colleagues,

During the day, a new TYPO3 release will be rolled out on all websites. Next to a new TYPO3 security update, the following changes will be implemented:

Usability Enhancement

  • Adjusted Headline Tags in Header Elements: The headline tag within the “Action Header” and “50:50 Header” elements have been changed from <h2> to <h1> to ensure that each page begins with an <h1> tag. Additionally, a new field has been added to the Hero Slider element, allowing you to choose between an <h1> or <h2> tag for each slide.


    Note: Ensure that the first image uses an <h1> tag. All subsequent images should use <h2> tags.
  • Fixed Missing Jump Marks Inside Tabs: A bug affecting jump marks within tab containers has been fixed. Now, when a jump mark targets content inside a tab, the tab will open automatically, and the content will be highlighted in red as expected.

  • Improved Mobile Footer Navigation Display: The display of the footer navigation has been optimized for mobile viewports.


  • Translation Permission Error in FAQ: A permission error that occurred when attempting to translate FAQ records has been resolved.

Accessibility Enhancement

  • Overwritten Alt Text on Images: An issue was identified where the provided title replaced the alternative text on certain image content elements. This has now been resolved for the Hero Slider and Carousel elements.

  • Unique Navigation Areas: We have improved the navigation areas on our website to better support screen readers in identifying the specific functionality of each navigation section. These changes apply to the meta, main, and footer navigation.

  • Added ARIA Labels: ARIA labels have been added to the global search icon and the login selector within the meta navigation.
